Kachifo Limited is an independent publishing house based in Lagos, Nigeria. It was founded in 2004 by Muhtar Bakare. Its imprints currently include Farafina Books, Farafina Educational, Prestige Books, and Farafina Magazine.

Farafina Books is an independent publisher of literary and popular fiction, textbooks, coffee table, general interest and children's books.
Farafina has established a presence in the West African sub-continent and has built up a reputation as a credible outlet for good quality contemporary African writing. Four of the imprint's literary fiction publications have gone on to win major awards: ''Purple Hibiscus'' (Commonwealth Prize for first book) and ''Half of a Yellow Sun'' (Orange Broadband Prize for Fiction), both by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, ''Everything Good Will Come'' (2006 Wole Soyinka Prize for Fiction) by Sefi Atta. and ''Zahrah the Windseeker'' (2008 Wole Soyinka Prize for Fiction) by Nnedi Okorafor.
